The Warriors put on quite a show last night as they gave Don Nelson his 1,300th win. Nelson is second on the "all time" wins list and is only trailing Lenny Wilkens by 32 games. The win came despite Stephen Jackson's erratic play. He hit some 3's but had some really bad turnovers.
Corey Maggette, on the other hand, played excellent. Soon as he came into the game he picked up a tough rebound, took it coast to coast and got to the line.
For all those people who question Maggette I have one thing to say. Watch a fucking Warriors game. What he does night in and night out is provide instant offense and rebounds. His focus on rebounding shows that he wants the team to win. His ability to mesh with the other guys this season shows he is not a selfish player that hogs the ball.
Another thing to point out is that I love Kevin Durant but, it is very hard to root for him since he is on the team that David Stern sold to OKC. The manner in which David Stern conducted himself was appalling and borderline criminal. Fuck Him. With that said I hope Kevin Durant moves to another team and continues being one of the best Ballers out there.
